Masters Fellowships

 

Dr. Mireille Paquet is offering two New Politics of Immigration Masters Fellowships for students applying for Concordia University’s MA of Political Science program. The students will focus their research attention on the areas of immigration and public policies. In addition to contributing to Dr. Paquet’s ongoing research, candidates must have an interest in pursuing their own research in areas Canadian immigration politics, skilled migration policies, federalism and immigration, French immigration to Québec, or immigration policy implementation.

 

Selected candidates will receive the special New Politics of Immigration Masters Fellowship valued at $12,000 in Year I of their program.  Applicants will also be considered for additional entrance awards offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the School of Graduate Studies and the Department of Political Science.

 

The successful candidates will be integrated into the team of researchers and students and will have various opportunities to present in conferences, write articles and join a thriving network of researchers and students within Concordia’s Center for Immigration Policy Evaluation.
