The Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC) will host its annual graduate student conference on March 29th and 30th, in Quebec City. This conference is open to students who share an interest in one of the Centre’s research areas: Learning Democratic Citizenship in an Unequal World; Practicing Citizenship in a Skeptical World; and Representing and Governing Citizens in Critical Times.

 

There is no registration fee. Participants registered at a Quebec university or in the Ottawa region, and who are coming in from outside Quebec City are eligible for a stipend from the CSDC to cover travel costs.

Le Centre pour l’étude de la citoyenneté démocratique (CÉCD) tiendra son colloque étudiant annuel à Québec les 29 et 30 mars 2019. Le colloque est ouvert aux étudiant.e.s qui partagent un intérêt pour l’un des axes de recherche du CÉCD: Apprendre la citoyenneté démocratique dans un monde inégal; Pratiquer la citoyenneté dans un monde de scepticisme; et Représenter et gouverner les citoyens dans des temps critiques.

 

Il n’y a pas de frais d’inscription. Les participant.e.s inscrit.e.s à une université québécoise ou de la région d’Ottawa, et qui proviennent de l’extérieur de la ville de Québec bénéficieront d’un soutien du CÉCD pour couvrir les frais de déplacement.
