11:15  Municipal Session presented by IPAC and AMCTO: Smart Municipal Governments driven by New Talent, Ideas and Innovations
Facilitator:  Rick Johal, Director, Member and Sector Relations, Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO)

Paul Shipway, CAO of the Municipality of Bayham

This broad mix of municipal CAOs will discuss the changing world of municipal government in Ontario.  Topics that will be explored include how to effectively manage and deliver direct services to the public in an era of constrained fiscal resources.  Additionally, balancing this need for a sector that is transitioning its human resources to a newer generation of professionals.  The dynamics at play are critical to appreciate in order to ensure the sector continues to improve, innovate and pursue creative approaches to meeting the growing demands of local citizens in each of our communities.
